5 Things to Do with Your Natural Effect Colored Contact Lenses

  1. Follow the instructions of your ophthalmologist :

    • See your eye doctor for a preliminary examination and follow his or her recommendations on how to wear and maintain your lenses.
  2. Maintain Good Hand Hygiene :

    • Wash your hands thoroughly with soap and dry them with a clean towel before touching your contact lenses.
  3. Clean and Disinfect Your Lenses Regularly :

    • Use a contact lens solution to clean and disinfect them according to the manufacturer's instructions.
  4. Store Lenses in a Clean Container :

    • Use a clean contact lens container and fill with fresh solution every time you store your lenses.
  5. Remove your lenses before going to sleep :

    • Even though lenses are designed for long-term wear, remove them before bed to allow your eyes to breathe.

  1. Do not wear lenses if your eyes are irritated or infected :

    • If you experience eye irritation, redness, or infection, avoid wearing your lenses until the problem is resolved.
  2. Do not use tap water or saliva :

    • Never use tap water, saliva or any other non-sterile liquid to clean or store your lenses.
  3. Do not exceed the recommended usage time :

    • Do not wear your lenses longer than the recommended time (e.g. daily, monthly) to avoid eye infection or damage.
  4. Do not exchange lenses with others :

    • Avoid sharing your lenses with other people, even if you have disinfected them, to prevent cross-infection.
  5. Don't ignore the signs of discomfort :

    • If you feel dry, itchy, or blurred vision, remove your lenses immediately and consult an eye doctor if symptoms persist.
